California bound

That’s right! I’m headed out to California in October, and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m going to explore Hollywood on my own for a few days, and then drive up to San Francisco to hang with Jeff for a few days. And Tasha will be there for a little while too! It makes me want to do a little happy dance!

Speaking of which, I ordered some dance-lesson DVDs earlier this week. As someone who regularly bumps into walls, I’m a little apprehensive about whether I’ll be able to get the hang of any type of dance. Jeff says he believes in me though, so that gives me a boost of confidence. I may give one a go tonight, we’ll see.

Anyway, back to the trip. I’ll be staying in West Hollywood, and I pretty much have no set plans. I of course want to see the walk of fame, even though I’ve been told it’s not that special, and that’s about the extent of my to-do list. Hell, I may just plant my ass on a park bench every day and people-watch. Who knows?

When I’m in San Fran with Jeff, I know we’re going to go to Fisherman’s Wharf and Hearst Castle (which is actually in San Simeon) and we’re going to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, but right now I can’t remember what else we talked about doing. No matter, plenty of time to figure everything out.

Suggestions are welcome though! Especially for Hollywood, cause I’ve pretty much got my own tour guide in San Fran!

Hearst Castle had been on my list of places to go. If I ever get out there, it’ll be on the list again. 🙂
