oh, the whiskey

The whiskey, it’s taken control.  We got to the bar early for my coworker’s send-off, and here I am, 7 whiskey & cokes later. I feel the need to tell you this immediately. Why? I’m not sure. Perhaps because, as luck would have it, it’s the happy drunk who emerged tonight, not the angry one. Seriously, lucky for all. Everyone got a good laugh at my expense, I’m sure, but I don’t give a fuck. I needed to cut loose, and apparently this is the night for it.

I would like to state for the record that Dave was encouraging me to drink more. So, if he has to clean up after me, it’s his doing.

I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever drunkenly blogged before. It doesn’t seem like I have, but I could be wrong.

We were going to watch “The Office,” but I think maybe that’s best left for Saturday, along with “House.” Pretty sure none of it would make sense right now.

So, nighty-night!

AWESOME! And that’s why I love you.

We need to get together and get our drunk on together. Ooh, let’s throw the Leather Thrill and Goat into the mix, too! I am SO feeling a BG reunion — minus the mulch eating. I get enough fiber the way it is. 🙂

Aw, I love you too! We do need to have a little reunion. We could all split a hotel room so we can get our drunk on. 😉 And we’ll stay away from the mulch.

  3. David Says:

I think that you should embrace the eating of the mulch but only for special occasions such as homecoming.

  4. Dani Says:

Oh, you’ve never seen the aftermath of the mulch eating. It’s not pretty.

  5. alex Says:

It hurts going down and coming back up. Wait. I don’t remember if I threw up or not. Either way, I assume it hurts coming back up.

  6. Dani Says:

Oh honey, trust me, you threw up. A lot. I will never forget the sight of mulch in the toilet. And it didn’t seem to be a pleasant experience getting it there.

  7. David Says:

Mulch incident was the greatest “Person on the Street” item ever run in the BG News. Still unbeaten!

  8. Dani Says:

Damn, I can’t think what the “Person on the Street” question was, or the mulch answer! Refresh us, please.

  9. Dave Says:

It was the final issue of the BG News for that year and the question was something like what is the funniest memory you have of BGSU and you said “When my friend ate mulch.” I read it, and called you and made you explain it. It sounded rougher than eating at Chi-Chi’s. Remember that place?

  10. Dani Says:

Ah yes, it’s all coming back to me. I never ate at Chi-Chi’s, but I remember it.

    I am famous! haha!
